| 内容記述 | 本稿は、『風景画論』や『芸術と文明』で有名な美術史家のケネス・クラーク(Kenneth Clark, 1903-83)が、国際的な展示プロジェクトに際して「芸術における動物」に関する執筆を依頼されて着手したAnimals and Men: Theirrelationship as reflected in Western art from prehistory to the present day (1977)の抄訳である。本稿では、原書の第１セクションである “Sacred and Symbolic Animals” 全文を翻訳した。 | |||||||
